Later, as a Senior Engineering Manager at Google, he helped shepherd the complex systems that scaled Google Voice into a global utility.
But to Frogg Dogg Promotions, he wasn't just a world-class engineer—he was our "Dr. Don." When Nathan and Don combined forces, they didn't just build a digital marketing agency; they built an analytical sandbox. Anyone who ever caught a glimpse of their internal process knows that the foundational code powering Frogg Dogg wasn't born in a sterile corporate boardroom. It was hammered out in legendary, marathon coding sessions.

Our foundational DNA in website design, custom branding, and technical development was forged by two singular minds sitting across from one another: our founder, Nathan Turner, M.Eng., and his dear friend and software engineering consultant, the late Dr. Donnie Carlton Fletcher, PhD.

The "old days" of Frogg Dogg were fueled by sharp minds and good wine. Our favorite agency legend involves Nathan and Don huddled together until sunrise, with ten to twelve laptops open simultaneously across a single desk. They wrote custom code, argued algorithmic structures, and built out early iterations of machine learning and web frameworks—all while pushing each other's analytical boundaries to the absolute limit. And when the coding paused, the real battles began. Their legendary, mind-numbing chess matches were a spectator sport of their own—a masterclass in strategy, patience, and a shared love for complex problem-solving.

Dr. Don passed away in 2020, but the obsession with cutting-edge logic never left our DNA. Because Nathan and Don were playing with early AI architecture before it was a buzzword, Frogg Dogg has an unfair advantage in the modern digital landscape.
